El was born in Iowa, moved to South Korea with her family for 5 years starting in 5th grade,  then moved to Michigan to finish high school  She graduated in a parking lot during the height of COVID. while her family drove by the stage   During her college senior spring semester, she interned at DRS and was hired as our full-time office manager after graduation. 

When not in the office, El enjoys caring for animals, kayaking, flower gardening, reading, and winning at trivia nights.
