• Style & Design: Beyond their cooling function, shade sails are a beautiful addition to any waterfront property as they designate areas for gathering and relaxation.  Sails can be rectangular, triangular, curved, or uniquely layered.  Large single sails or smaller overlapping ones are all possible: your imagination is the limit.  With precise, point-to-point measurements and 20 color options, we make sure your sail fits both your space and your style vision. 

• Sun Protection: Beyond keeping you cooler, our sails block 96% of damaging UV rays, helping protect you and your guests from sunburn and long-term skin damage.  

• Durability & Care:  Made from UV-stabilized HDPE fabric, our sails are built for harsh conditions (sand, wind, and sun), low-maintenance, and long-lasting performance.  They exceed flame retardancy standards and are backed by full UV warranties.  

• Installation & Stability: Reinforced corners and stainless steel hardware attach to cables sewn into the sail hems. DRS can mount your sails to buildings or to free-standing galvanized steel posts driven at least 8' into the ground. DRS also offers spring installation and fall removal services for a hassle-free seasonal setup.

• Peace of Mind: As a seasonal structure, shade sail installation does not require any state or local permits.
