"Footings" are the foundation of a structure that keeps it stable, especially when the ground shifts from wind, water, freezing and thawing.  DRS has designed specialized dune footings to ensure long-term structural stability without compromising the surrounding dune or its ecology.   We assess each dune to determine which type of footing is best suited to the slope and soil conditions.
